Ms. Anca S. - Romanian Interpreter in Texas

I am a native Romanian speaker providing Consecutive Interpretation, Proofreading, Simultaneous Interpretation, Telephone Interpreting, Transcription, Translation, Typesetting, Interpretation services in Romanian into English, English into Romanian. I have been providing Interpreter services in the field for nearly 1 year.

I began translating from English into Romanian when I was 14, for fun. At first I came upon this great book of short mystery stories -Ellery Queens Mystery Bag- and I thought it would be great to have the Romanian translation of it and share it with my friends. After that many other books followed. In college I made some extra cash translating a diversity of documents ( legal, social sciences, technical, letters, affidavits, medical, chemical). I have a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering - graduated in 1993 from The Polytechnical Institute of Bucharest and I worked a number of years in a chemical testing laboratory - I had the opportunity to translate quite a good amount of technical and scientific books, users manuals, etc.
